The high quality of the building ensemble for the environment and users is ensured by the gold certification of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The use of resource-conserving, recycling-friendly materials and efficient district heating are not the only factors that play a role here. Only buildings that are designed for the long term are sustainable. A well thought-out hygiene concept with contactless technology was implemented across all rooms to reduce CO2 values. Ventilation is distributed via ventilation inlets/outlets in the suspended ceiling and recirculating air cooling units. The used exhaust air is fed into the central ventilation unit on the roof to enable additional heating in winter with the help of heat recovery.
